We're a small company in Eugene, OR, creating optimization
software. We're looking for a C++ programmer with a strong algorithmic
focus -- someone who knows their pointers from their Dijkstra's.
You'll be joining about a dozen friendly people working together
creating programs to solve industrial-scale scheduling and routing
problems using novel, AI-based approaches, often inspired by research
done in our previous incarnation as a research lab at the University
of Oregon. While you can still find a graduate student or two hanging
around, these days we're more focused on writing software for
end-users than writing papers for journals.
The work environment is friendly, informal, and intellectual. Benefits

As you would expect in a small company, you'll have a wide variety of
responsibilities: everything from fixing bugs to writing new products
to thinking about user interfaces.
You should have BS or better in CS, Math or a related field, and a
strong knowledge of programming in a fast, low-level language.
