Position – Mobile Application Developer
Originally developed for Windows Mobile, Swype is in need of versatile application developers to help us expand Swype to other platforms – Android, LiMo, Maemo, Moblin, OS X, Symbian, and various proprietary OS's. Expect to get your hands dirty doing just about everything as you help us broaden the reach of a truly remarkable tool.
Required Skills
• Solid foundation in software architecture and software engineering practices
• 5+ years mobile application development experience in a multi-threaded environment
• Experience with C++ Cross-platform development experience in a multi-threaded environment
• Support multiple, globally distributed customers
• Willingness to learn and teach
Additional Desired Skills
• User interface design & development
• Perl, Java
• Experience developing for smart phones, tablet PCs, mobile internet devices, set-top boxes
• Linguistics experience
• Familiarity with languages beyond English
