The pressure to develop innovative, high performance search products is rising as demand for our search products and services is soaring worldwide. That’s why we need your to take place in our team of R&D programming experts. The position we seek to fulfil is one of many different areas, all revolving around components and technology used mostly on the server side. You will be developing technology components, mostly in C#, that are part of large system and product architecture. We expect you to be able to think in architectural ways as well as in detailed, system-level approaches.

Apart from creating code components, you will devote time to educate and help people that deal with our technology and with customers — mostly our own implementation team, in the Netherlands and in the US.

You will mostly be working in our office on the north bank of the IJ, near the NDSM-wharf, with a great view of the river.

Requirements:
* Strong programming qualities in multiple languages with an emphasis on server-side technologies, plus experience in C#.NET.
* Demonstrable knowledge of programming principles, preferably by a degree in computer science
* You aim at delivering clean, high-quality, elegant code
* Hands-on, goal-oriented, get-the-job-done mentality
* Open personality with a healthy sense of humor
* Living in or near Amsterdam, or willing to relocate
* Working experience is welcome but less important than ambition and qualities
* Experience with web based applications & ASP.NET is a plus
