ClearViewEdge is a startup software company with a working Microsoft Access Database application that is being used successfully by three companies in the financial sector. We have solid investor backing to convert this application to a C# .NET Windows product that will be commercially launched in 2010.
We are looking to hire a permanent technical lead and architect to guide the product development and support team. Our office will be established in Newtown, CT.
Potential candidates should meet the following criteria.
Requirements:
Candidates should have a proven product development track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, and should have experience managing a project through all phases, from initial concept to customer delivery and support.
Specific skills and experience should include:
• Developing and managing requirements
• Developing, documenting, and communicating architecture for projects
• Creating and reviewing design documentation
• Solid project management skills (development schedules, tracking progress, etc)
• Proven leadership in managing teams of developers
• Experience with creating and communicating a software development process
• Working effectively with an SQA team and managing the defect discovery and repair process
• Experience communicating with management and customers
Technical Requirements:
Candidates should also have extensive .NET (Version 3.5) experience using C#, and a strong background in software development process and practices. In addition, we will be looking for particular experience in one or more of the following areas:
• WCF / .NET Remoting
• .NET WinForms, custom control creation, and WPF
• ADO.NET and SQL Server
• Infragistics NetAdvantage
• Microsoft Composite Application Library (Prism)
• Microsoft Enterprise Library application blocks
As a final side note, a candidate whose only experience with .NET is ASP.NET web applications is unlikely to be a good fit for this project.
