We are involved with multiple projects that range from direct customer engagements to long-term framework development projects. Joining this team requires a special personality: you must be willing to go beyond your comfort level to try new things and to work with team members to make it all come together.
We are a distributed team with multiple offices located throughout the world. We operate in a startup environment and work with highly-distributed .Net technologies in an Agile environment. We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Manhattan office. The individual in this highly visible position will contribute to multiple projects ranging from quick one-off tools to defining, developing and populating medical frameworks to building new hardware devices. The devices which we place in doctors’ offices run an embedded OS with a lightweight client to display configurable patient interviews with an intuitive user interface.
Some projects will include:
•Prototyping and refactoring healthcare frameworks in an actively evolving codebase
•Supporting and extending Continuous Integration and Build Management Systems to ensure that our customers and users always have the best possible experience
•Work with partners to allow integration into remote Physician systems or hack systems that don’t want to work with us or no longer exist
•Ensure test coverage of code to allow for the fastest possible release times

Qualifications for the position:
•Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
•Recent use of C# and Microsoft.Net framework
•Experience with SQL Server or other relational database systems
•Familiarity with Continuous Integration Tools and Build Management
•Knowledgeable in building testable code
•Ability to quickly learn new technologies
Optionally, knowledge of the following:
•Web, Windows, and CE development
•Healthcare industry document formats like HL7
•Electronic Medical Record (EMR) / Practice Medical Systems (PMS) / Healthcare Information Systems (HIS)
