Songza is unique in that it allows users to collaboratively curate stations. No algorithms! You get what you want.- 0-3 years of professional software development experience.- Proficiency in either C or C++.- Proficiency in at least one of: Python, Ruby, Perl, Javascript, C, C++, Java, Lisp (or a dialect).- Comfort with Linux, *BSD, and/or OS X systems.- Computer science degree or equivalent knowledge (coursework in algorithms, operating systems, programming languages, and databases).- Record of improvising, adapting, overcoming, and generally getting things done.- Position is NYC based, but will make exceptions for exceptional candidates.
