Do you want to work with smart, creative people building great software while using progressive tools in a small team environment? We are looking for an intermediate level Software Engineer to work with our team building the next generation of class-leading software products. Ideally, the position will be located in and work with teams in the Austin, TX or Raleigh, NC area. Remote home office locations may also be considered.
Requirements include:
• One to four year years experience developing and supporting web applications
• experience with JavaScript (AJAX), Ruby, Rails
• excellent written and verbal skills
Some key attributes of a successful candidate will be:
• ability to work well with minimal technical direction
• experience working with a virtual team
• interest in current software development best practices
• familiarity with a wide variety of software development methodologies, tools, languages and approaches
Pluses:
• Bachelors degree in CS or related field or associates degree with additional experience
• ecommerce experience
