Full-time(Elk Grove / Sacramento, CA) Granite Horizon, LLC is a northern California web development firm providing implementations of the eZ Publish open source enterprise content management system for clients across the country. We'll train our new full-time developer on eZ Publish. Then he or she will implement front-end solutions within the framework of eZ Publish and its template language, and occasionally extend it by creating PHP template operators, workflows, etc. Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor or master degree in computer science, programming, or software engineering
• Object oriented programming language background (PHP, Java, or C++)
• Competence with web technologies (XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, cross-browser compatibility)
• Experience working in a Linux command line environment
• Strong communication skills
• Efficient and effective coding skills with attention to standards compliance, error handling, and code reuse. Desired Skills:
• Web content management system and content modeling
• Apache virtual host and rewrite rules configuration
• Subversion client usage
• Linux system administration
• eZ Publish content management framework experience
