Responsibilities
Work with the marketing team to develop new web pages and page content
• Collaborate with the marketing team on design of new web pages, including usability, look and feel, layout, technical best practices, and page optimization
• Code web pages using standardized, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Monitor web pages to maintain site function and update, optimize, modify, and enhance existing web pages as requested or necessary
• Interact with the quality assurance team to debug web pages & troubleshoot systems
• Integrate web pages with existing ordering, tracking and fulfillment applications, and assist with application enhancement and management to further marketing objectives
• Integrate web pages with external hosting services, affiliate partners and outside sales units
• Integrate web pages with marketing related web-based technologies (e.g. auto-responder services, refer a friend, save a sale and upsell tools, invoicing, click to call / chat, a/b testing and multivariate testing tools)
• Integrate web pages with performance tracking tools to analyze web site statistics and monitor site metrics (e.g. tagging, pathing, page trends, usage, click heat, conversion impact).
• Integrate web pages with marketing intelligence technologies, including data cleansing and enhancing, demographic segmenting, profiling, and customized scoring tools
• Initiate and oversee marketing projects related to web tools and technologies

• Research, understand and apply new developments and trends in web-related technologies to further marketing objectives
• Create new page standards and presentation methods to improve the overall user experience with our pages (e.g. forms, sales flow, terms, security, product delivery)
Qualifications
• Great talent for all aspects of web site development, including interface design, page layouts, optimization, and overall user experience.
• Excellent knowledge of HTML, XHTML and CSS web page layout languages, including standards-compliant coding design skills (e.g. CSS tableless design)
• Advanced level of proficiency with PHP and JavaScript programming languages.
• Basic knowledge in Linux file management
• Comfortable with Linux command line
• Excellent knowledge of MySQL database queries to gather and summarize business data
• Able to integrate 3rd party services using PERL or JavaScript
• Knowledge of PERL, PERL TemplateToolkit a plus
• Intermediate level of proficiency with web development and design software tools (e.g. Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, and FTP programs)
• Able to interface and collaborate with software developers
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally and clearly with customers and partners
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Detail-oriented, well organized, quick learner with the ability to work concurrently on multiple projects
• Experience with email database marketing, a plus
• Ability to work independently as well as be effective in a team setting
