Bidfire, a well-funded, pre-launch startup is looking to hire an experienced and strong web developer. You must have expertise and passion for building highly scalable and elegant software. You ideally have experience outsourcing components and functionality when it makes sense.
This is an opportunity to get involved at the ground floor of a startup with experienced startup veterans that know how to grow a business fast. You will be joining a team of experienced, motivated and driven professionals that are efficient and good at what they do, and we expect the same from you.

Technology Requirements:
- 4+ Years of professional software development experience
- Real world experience developing, deploying, and maintaining web apps.
- Important to have a strong understanding of computer science rather than any specific language
- Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming and design
- Strong proficiency (4+ years) in Ruby on Rails, Javascript, PHP, Javascript, HTML/CSS
- Strong and effective testing habits
- Solid understanding of Amazon Web Services, Engine Yard, Joyent, etc
- Unix system admin experience
- MySQL admin experience
- Familiarity with elements of design, UI, UX

- Facebook app development
