Full-time(Brooklyn, NY) HUGE is currently seeking a motivated, hands-on Action Script developer to join the HUGE development group. Developers are responsible for building, testing, debugging and troubleshooting web applications and scripts. Required:
•3+ years experience writing ActionScript2 for Flash applications integrated with server-side web applications and content management systems
•Experience coding complex event handling systems and advanced transitions/animations in Flash
•Experience integrating optimized video, 3d model animation in Flash
•A thorough understanding of the concepts behind object oriented programming and several years experience implementing OOP concepts with ActionScript
•Experience parsing XML with ActionScript to load dynamic content
•Excellent problem solving skills and love technical challenges
•Self-motivated, and able to multi-task.
•Must be able to take initiative to be productive and efficient.
•Must be able to function independently and still work well in a "team oriented" environment. Desired:
•4 year degree in Computer Science, Programming or equivalent
•Knowledge of and experience with source/version control systems is a plus
•Strong communication skills (both in person and in writing) while interacting with individuals with a range of technical understanding.
