We are looking for a senior front end developer : 2 - 3 years of experience as a front end developer and at-least 5 years experience programming.
What's expected from you?
- HTML, CSS, Javascript
- Be able to discuss Javascript events and how "Unobtrusive Javascript" affects your programming style
- Be able to talk about when you would use a javascript framework and when you would not
- PHP or Python
- Work with APIs like Google maps, Flickr, Picasa, etc.
- Experience with FBML is a plus
- MySQL : some knowledge preferred
- Ability to work with a rock solid team of designers and server side engineers to produce the best damn rocking web site in the world.
What are you going to do at TabletHotels.com?
- Collaborate with designers to provide usability input and opinions; the designers are in charge of defining the user experience - but you will be an integral part of the process
- Make the concepts a reality: develop in Python (not required knowledge before accepting the position), CSS, and Javascript
- Design and define the front-end architecture: how to best structure code, re-usbale code, and how best to optimize the performance of the front-end.
