(SoHo, New York) Travel planning and sharing website IgoUgo is seeking a .NET developer to work day-to-day with a small, enthusiastic group of designers, editors, and other developers dedicated to building a website they’re proud to recommend to their friends.
We expect our developers to have strong feelings about user experience and be vocal participants in every aspect of the business.
In addition to a strong background in .NET, candidates should have experience with the following:

• AJAX and JavaScript frameworks
• Service-oriented architecture
• Database applications and SQL statements
• Object-oriented design
• Java (or a willingness to learn) 

The ideal candidate will also posses the following:

• An understanding of HTML, CSS and SEO strategies
• A passion for building websites that includes experience maintaining his or her own blog, online portfolio, or hobby website
• A knack for problem-solving and getting things done
• Great communication skills and a good sense of humor
• A love of travel
